I establish what the matter concerns, organise the material and present the available actions, their limitations, costs and risks.
My approach
Facts, documents and a clearly defined objective are the foundation.
During the first conversation, I establish what the problem concerns, which deadlines are running and what you expect. I also identify the documents and information needed for further assessment.
I separate facts from assumptions, organise the documents and identify the risks that can already be recognised. I also explain what cannot yet be determined. On this basis, I present the available courses of action.
The purpose of the consultation is to determine which provisions may apply and what the next steps depend on.
Litigation experience
Experience helps assess risk and prepare the next steps.
Conducting litigation requires knowledge of the case file, assessment of the significance of evidence and a response to changes in the procedural situation. Experience does not remove the uncertainty inherent in proceedings, but it allows possible courses of action to be prepared more effectively.
I do not guarantee an outcome because the decision belongs to the court or another competent authority. I assess the available material, identify weaknesses in the position, recommend action and update the strategy when new circumstances or evidence emerge.
I do not recommend an action merely because it is formally possible. I assess each step in terms of admissibility, cost, risk, purpose and the client's interests.
Cooperation model
I am personally responsible for the legal strategy. I select specialists to meet the needs of the matter.
I run an individual law practice and cooperate with a group of specialists whose expertise complements the legal analysis. I am responsible for the legal strategy, communication with you and coordination of procedural work.
A complex matter may require an OSINT analyst, digital forensics specialist, valuer, accountant, tax adviser, psychologist, physician, translator or a lawyer specialising in another field. Each person is responsible for their own area. I define the scope of cooperation and integrate the findings into the legal analysis.
Not every matter requires another specialist. Where their involvement is justified, I agree with you in advance the purpose, scope and anticipated cost, together with the rules for transferring and protecting information.
